Drum Circles:
“A culture without rhythm and drumming is like a tree with no roots” Throughout history drumming has been used for health, healing, ceremony and celebration. These past 12 years I have been gathering communities young & old to re-connect with the drum and their inner rhythm. My drum circle facilitation has been in various Long Term Care facilities, Simcoe Board of Education, Private Schools, RVH Hospital & Hospice settings. Various corporate and community agencies for staff appreciation & team building days. I’ve created a hand drumming curriculum called ”Catch the Beat tm“that teaches global rhythms, and improvisational drumming, and co-created a thriving community drum circle called “Earthdrum” we_are_earthdrum@hotmail.com. This is an open drum circle that meets every Friday morning 10:00-11:30 am at 170 Steel St. , Barrie, Ont.
